to our 3 extended families, and invite them to join us at our final destination...
HAWAII! Oahu, to be exact.
We'd definitely visit the Polynesian Cultural Center. We'd learn about the culture, history, songs, dance, and food from Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tahiti/Marquesas.
We'd take a volcano tour at Hanauma Bay. We'd also see the lookout point at Nuuanu Pali.
We'd swim with the graceful dolphins.
We'd relax on the beach and soak in the scents of plumeria and hibiscus and never want to leave!
We'd check out the Petronas Towers and all of the modern architecture in Kuala Lumpur.
Even though ginormous statues freak me out a little, we'd visit the Batu Caves.
We'd visit the Bird Park and see hornbills and other cool birds roaming around.
We'd journey to find a rafflesia- the world's largest flower!
Bonus: SINGAPORE!
Since it's so close to Malaysia we'd visit Singapore to spend a day strolling through this sparkling clean city enjoying the modern and heritage architecture it has to offer.
A child on a farm sees a plane fly overhead and dreams of a faraway place. A traveler on the plane sees the farmhouse and dreams of home.

About this Site
My husband and I love to travel! We are from North America and have been lucky enough to visit Europe and Asia. Our dream is to visit every continent (if not every country) and personally get to know the beauty of the earth and our brothers and sisters from other lands.
We would have loved to have spent our honeymoon (or now our second honeymoon) filming the show "1,000 Places To See Before You Die." Now that we have children we would love to participate in the show "Are We There Yet? World Adventure." Since neither of those things is likely to happen, we're going on a virtual trip around the world this year visiting a new country each week. Who knows- maybe someday we'll be able to take a sabbatical from our lives and make this dream a reality.
