Week 35

CZECH REPUBLIC!

We'd check out all the modern and medieval charms of Prague.

We'd visit the Czech's favorite vacation spots in South Moravia.

We'd stroll through some Bohemian villages.

There are tons of castles of different architectural interests and histories, so we'd try to see them all. Especially this one, Karlstejn Castle.

Week 34

GERMANY! Home of our forefathers.

There are so many beautiful and famous castles in Germany. We'd try to see as many as possible, such as the Burg Eltz.

We'd be charmed by the lovely Bavaria. Of course, we'd sample lots of pastry with Bavarian Cream too.

We'd stroll through the Black Forest and hope we don't run into the big bad wolf. Hopefully, we could taste some Black Forest cake though.

We'd visit the old city of Edewecht where Leonard's grandpa was born. It's a much nicer place than the war-torn Vukovar, Croatia where my grandfather was from.

We'd visit the lovely Gripsholm Castle.

We'd step into history by going on a replica Viking ship cruise.

We'd step into the future by riding the spaceport shuttle.

Week 32

THE NETHERLANDS!

We'd be dazzled by the "Venice of the North" aka Amsterdam.

We'd go on a hunt for windmills. (It's too bad we'd miss the tulip season.)

We'd visit Anne Frank's House. I want my children to know the horrors that man can inflict on others, but also the overriding goodness of humanity.

Of course we'd have to shop for some wooden clogs to wear in the garden and eat some Gouda cheese. We could also visit the Van Gogh Museum, Madurodam (the miniature city), and possibly Smurf Village (even though they were invented in Belgium, there they are "Les Schtroumpfs" it was the Dutch that named them "The Smurfs.")
